Three intrepid Roberts owners are among a small group who invested in a custom "Holiday from Hell" courtesy of Phil's Cycling Holidays, based in the Vercors. In the course of a week-long trip they tackled lots of minor cols (with many spectacular views) and one of the Tour's great climbs up to Alpe d'Huez. Two of the frames used S&S couplings and we hope to have a report and pictures on the site very soon.

She did get her wish - her new bike is a Roberts Roughstuff in dark navy blue, with 150mm short TA cranks and platform pedals, lots of classic Shimano XT parts, Mavic rims and her favourite Campagnolo brake levers. The threadless forks/aheadset/aheadstem and Tubus racks show that Josie is willing to move with the times.
